Australia Market ends marginally higher
Australian equity market finished session marginally higher after its first day of post-Christmas trade on Wednesday, 27 December 2017, on the back of strength in shares of energy and mining companies offsetting declines in financial and industrials sectors. The S&P/ASX 200 index rose 0.2 points to 6,069.90 at the close of trade. Australian markets were closed on Monday and Tuesday.
