Bajaj Finserv edges higher on inclusion into Nifty 50 index

Bajaj Finserv was up 0.57% at Rs 5,001.55 at 10:40 IST on BSE on inclusion into Nifty 50 index with effect from 2 April 2018, along with Grasim Industries and Titan Company.

Bajaj Finserv (up 0.57% at Rs 5,001.55) edged higher. Grasim Industries (down 0.17% at Rs 1,106.70) and Titan Company (down 0.17% at Rs 821.50) declined.

Ambuja Cements (down 1.62% at Rs 257.40), Aurobindo Pharma (down 0.44% at Rs 568.30) and Bosch (down 1.71% at Rs 18,868.45) edged lower. These three stocks are set to be excluded from the Nifty 50 index with effect from 2 April 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 99.65 points or 0.29% at 33,745.21.
