Bharat Heavy Electricals standalone net profit rises 112.09% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 4.54% to Rs 9831.89 crore

Net profit of Bharat Heavy Electricals rose 112.09% to Rs 457.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 215.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 4.54% to Rs 9831.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 9404.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 62.67% to Rs 806.60 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 495.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 1.36% to Rs 27963.15 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 27587.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
