Board of Ingersoll-Rand (India) approves take over of Centrifugal Compression Division

Ingersoll-Rand (India) announced that its ultimate holding Company, Ingersoll Rand plc, Ireland has entered into an agreement with Cameron International Corporation to acquire its 'Centrifugal Compression Division' worldwide. Pursuant to this decision, Centrifugal Compression Division in India being carried on by Cameron Manufacturing (India) will be taken over by the Company.

The Board of the Company at a meeting held on 11 November 2014 has approved the purchase of assets of the said Centrifugal Compression Division from Cameron Manufacturing (India) for a consideration of approximately Rs 1.60 crore.
