Board of Omkar Speciality Chemicals approves scheme of arrangement

At meeting held on 28 March 2016

Omkar Speciality Chemicals announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 28 March 2016 have transacted the following -

Approved the scheme of arrangement between Omkar Speciality Chemicals, Lasa Laboratory, Urdhwa Chemicals, Rishichem Research, Desh Chemicals and Lasa Supergenerics for :

a) the merger of Lasa Laboratory, Urdhwa Chemicals, Rishichem Research, Desh Chemicals with Omkar Speciality; and

b) the demerger of the Veterinary API undertaking of merged Omkar Speciality Chemicals into Lasa Supergenerics.
