Capital Goods stocks fall
Capital Goods stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index decreasing 114.47 points or 0.62% at 18212.51 at 13:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (down 2.17%), NBCC (India) Ltd (down 1.84%),Havells India Ltd (down 1.67%),Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 1.2%),Bharat Electronics Ltd (down 0.96%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were HEG Ltd (down 0.85%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd (down 0.85%), Carborundum Universal Ltd (down 0.79%), Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (down 0.59%), and Finolex Cables Ltd (down 0.53%).
On the other hand, Siemens Ltd (up 1.69%), V-Guard Industries Ltd (up 1.21%), and Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (up 0.98%) turned up.
At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 62.69 or 0.16% at 40260.92.
The Nifty 50 index was down 18.3 points or 0.15% at 11889.85.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 16.69 points or 0.12% at 13491.44.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 15.63 points or 0.34% at 4662.73.
On BSE,1135 shares were trading in green, 1213 were trading in red and 162 were unchanged.
