Cipla standalone net profit rises 769.33% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 2.98% to Rs 2530.90 crore

Net profit of Cipla rose 769.33% to Rs 224.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 25.86 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 2.98% to Rs 2530.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 2608.51 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 50.63% to Rs 1468.52 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 974.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 3.45% to Rs 11004.44 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 10637.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
