Consumer Durables stocks edge lower

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index decreasing 166.21 points or 0.67% at 24640.37 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 4.7%), Voltas Ltd (down 1.57%), Titan Company Ltd (down 0.65%), and V I P Industries Ltd (down 0.5%), were the top losers.

On the other hand, Symphony Ltd (up 1.4%), Bajaj Electricals Ltd (up 1.39%), and Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 1.35%) turned up.

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 342.87 or 0.84% at 41281.59.

The Nifty 50 index was up 94.9 points or 0.79% at 12148.85.

 

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 67.89 points or 0.51% at 13373.68.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 16.23 points or 0.35% at 4703.7.

On BSE,1298 shares were trading in green, 1050 were trading in red and 171 were unchanged.
