Corporation Bank allots 86.90 crore equity shares to Govt. of India

Govt. of India's stake in Corporation Bank increases from 79.87% to 86.77%

Corporation Bank has allotted 86,90,47,619 equity shares of Rs 2 each at a premium of Rs 27.40 per at an issue price of Rs 29.40 per share to the Government of India on a preferential basis.

Consequent upon this the Issued, Subscribed and paid-up Capital of the Bank gets raised to 253,45,96,238 equity shares of Rs.21- each and Government of India holding gets increased from 79.87%.to 86.77%.
