Exide Industries standalone net profit rises 15.40% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 25.83% to Rs 2459.41 crore

Net profit of Exide Industries rose 15.40% to Rs 189.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 164.26 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 25.83% to Rs 2459.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1954.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 3.65% to Rs 668.35 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 693.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 21.14% to Rs 9186.32 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 7583.47 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
