FDI Inflows Rise 10% In April-December 2019 On YOY Basis

Foreign direct investment into India slipped by 1.4% to $10.67 billion in December quarter of the current fiscal, according to data from Department For Promotion Of Industry And Internal Trade. Inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) during October-December of 2018-19 stood at $10.82 billion. During April-December period 2019-20, foreign investments into the country rose 10% to $36.76 billion as against USD 33.49 billion in the same period of 2018-19, according to the data.
