Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals consolidated net profit rises 204.04% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 8.01% to Rs 671.42 crore

Net profit of Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals rose 204.04% to Rs 34.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 11.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 8.01% to Rs 671.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 621.63 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 50.09% to Rs 165.74 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 332.09 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 10.83% to Rs 2429.48 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 2724.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
