Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals standalone net profit rises 198.71% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 9.31% to Rs 1541.84 crore

Net profit of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals rose 198.71% to Rs 187.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 62.61 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 9.31% to Rs 1541.84 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1700.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 2.48% to Rs 419.50 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 409.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 13.81% to Rs 5264.53 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6108.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
