Hercules Hoists lost 2.93% to Rs 107.50 at 14:47 IST on BSE after net profit fell 27.5% to Rs 5.08 crore on 11.7% decline in net sales to Rs 28.86 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.
The Q3 result was announced after market hours on Thursday, 6 February 2014.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 2.52 points or 0.01% at 20,308.22.
On BSE, so far 11,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 46,775 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 114 and a low of Rs 107.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 138.50 on 19 February 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 75 on 19 August 2013.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 6 February 2014, sliding 9.03% compared with the Sensex's 2.29% fall. The scrip had, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, jumping 10.97% as against Sensex's 2.8% fall.
