ICICI Bank slips in volatile trade after twin bulk deals

ICICI Bank fell 0.16% to Rs 251.60 at 10:40 IST on BSE after 20.24 lakh shares changed hands in two bulk deals on BSE today, 17 December 2015.

A bulk deal of 15.06 lakh shares was executed on the ICICI Bank scrip at Rs 252 per share at 10:13 IST on BSE today, 17 December 2015. Another bulk deal of 5.28 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 252.60 per share at 10:04 IST on BSE today, 17 December 2015.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 34.17 points or 0.13% at 25,528.54

Bulk deal boosted volume on the ICICI Bank counter. On BSE, so far 22.83 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 8.10 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

 

The stock was volatile. The stock rose as much as 1.3% at the day's high of Rs 255.30 so far during the day. The stock fell as much as 0.31% at the day's low of Rs 251.20 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 393.30 on 28 January 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 242.95 on 15 December 2015.

ICICI Bank's net profit rose 11.9% to Rs 3030.11 crore on 8.2% growth in total income to Rs 16106.22 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
