Indian Overseas Bank reports standalone net loss of Rs 936.19 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Total Operating Income decline 7.41% to Rs 5471.69 crore

Net loss of Indian Overseas Bank reported to Rs 936.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 35.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Total Operating Income declined 7.41% to Rs 5471.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 5909.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 2897.33 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 454.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Total Operating Income declined 1.76% to Rs 23517.29 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 23938.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
