Industrials shares gain
Industrials stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Industrials index rising 22.38 points or 0.75% at 3001.06 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Nelcast Ltd (up 9.11%), Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd (up 8.01%),Man Infraconstruction Ltd (up 6.42%),Polycab India Ltd (up 5.76%),MMTC Ltd (up 5.19%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were State Trading Corporation of India Ltd (up 4.99%), Shankara Building Products Ltd (up 4.99%), Patel Engineering Ltd (up 4.96%), Nila Infrastructures Ltd (up 4.94%), and Ramky Infrastructure Ltd (up 4.93%).
On the other hand, Sintex Plastics Technology Ltd (down 5%), Simplex Infrastructures Ltd (down 4.42%), and Apcotex Industries Ltd (down 4.28%) moved lower.
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 160.26 or 0.41% at 39219.09.
The Nifty 50 index was up 34.55 points or 0.3% at 11638.65.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 58.24 points or 0.44% at 13281.3.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 19.89 points or 0.44% at 4535.71.
On BSE,883 shares were trading in green, 525 were trading in red and 46 were unchanged.
