Consumer Durables stocks slide

Consumer Durables stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index decreasing 287.46 points or 1.12% at 25432.57 at 13:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Titan Company Ltd (up 3.4%), Bajaj Electricals Ltd (up 0.88%), and V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.29%), were the top losers.

On the other hand, Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 2.69%), Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 2.25%), and Symphony Ltd (up 1.99%) turned up.

At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 373.92 or 1% at 37905.9.

The Nifty 50 index was up 110.7 points or 0.99% at 11237.1.

 

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 56.33 points or 0.44% at 12769.35.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 25.52 points or 0.59% at 4327.81.

On BSE,1087 shares were trading in green, 1214 were trading in red and 168 were unchanged.
