Industrials shares slide

Industrials stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Industrials index falling 13.79 points or 0.5% at 2721.42 at 13:50 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Suzlon Energy Ltd (down 10.07%), Technocraft Industries (India) Ltd (down 7.75%),Skipper Ltd (down 6.84%),Patel Engineering Ltd (down 6.35%),Nila Infrastructures Ltd (down 6.13%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were BGR Energy Systems Ltd (down 6.08%), NCC Ltd (down 5.98%), Kabra Extrusion Technik Ltd (down 5.96%), Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (down 5.86%), and Shriram EPC Ltd (down 5.17%).

On the other hand, Navkar Corporation Ltd (up 14.81%), Ramky Infrastructure Ltd (up 11.96%), and Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (up 7.64%) moved up.

 

At 13:50 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 277.46 or 0.74% at 37174.38.

The Nifty 50 index was down 70.85 points or 0.64% at 10975.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 85.1 points or 0.68% at 12423.36.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 20.32 points or 0.48% at 4202.51.

On BSE,750 shares were trading in green, 1515 were trading in red and 141 were unchanged.
