Information Technology shares slide
Information Technology stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index falling 90.61 points or 0.58% at 15619.13 at 13:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Intellect Design Arena Ltd (down 2.69%), 3i Infotech Ltd (down 2.45%),HCL Technologies Ltd (down 1.99%),D-Link India Ltd (down 1.84%),Cigniti Technologies Ltd (down 1.7%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Firstsource Solutions Ltd (down 1.59%), Tata Elxsi Ltd (down 1.34%), Cyient Ltd (down 1.22%), Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (down 1.1%), and Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd (down 1.06%).
On the other hand, Ramco Systems Ltd (up 14.04%), Birlasoft Ltd (up 2.04%), and Nucleus Software Exports Ltd (up 1.82%) moved up.
At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 77.5 or 0.19% at 41565.16.
The Nifty 50 index was down 15.5 points or 0.13% at 12247.25.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 4.31 points or 0.03% at 13386.34.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 0.64 points or 0.01% at 4699.18.
On BSE,1082 shares were trading in green, 1194 were trading in red and 165 were unchanged.
