Capital Goods stocks in red

Capital Goods stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index decreasing 38.68 points or 0.23% at 17006.55 at 13:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Bharat Forge Ltd (down 2.73%), Honeywell Automation India Ltd (down 1.12%),Finolex Cables Ltd (down 0.89%),AIA Engineering Ltd (down 0.72%),V-Guard Industries Ltd (down 0.7%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 0.68%), NBCC (India) Ltd (down 0.58%), Havells India Ltd (down 0.3%), HEG Ltd (down 0.29%), and Graphite India Ltd (down 0.26%).

On the other hand, GMR Infrastructure Ltd (up 0.7%), Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (up 0.68%), and Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (up 0.63%) turned up.

 

At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 77.5 or 0.19% at 41565.16.

The Nifty 50 index was down 15.5 points or 0.13% at 12247.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 4.31 points or 0.03% at 13386.34.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 0.64 points or 0.01% at 4699.18.

On BSE,1082 shares were trading in green, 1194 were trading in red and 165 were unchanged.
