Information Technology stocks gain

Information Technology stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index increasing 56.65 points or 0.35% at 16285.33 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (up 2.98%), eClerx Services Ltd (up 2.51%),Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd (up 1.63%),Tata Elxsi Ltd (up 1.42%),Cigniti Technologies Ltd (up 1.32%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were D-Link India Ltd (up 1.23%), NELCO Ltd (up 1.17%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (up 1.09%), HCL Infosystems Ltd (up 1.08%), and Mastek Ltd (up 1.03%).

On the other hand, Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (down 4.93%), Expleo Solutions Ltd (down 1.94%), and Intellect Design Arena Ltd (down 1.81%) turned lower.

 

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 93.73 or 0.23% at 41472.17.

The Nifty 50 index was down 26.95 points or 0.22% at 12174.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 0.09 points or 0% at 14731.14.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 17.33 points or 0.34% at 5087.25.

On BSE,757 shares were trading in green, 778 were trading in red and 63 were unchanged.
