Information Technology shares slide

Information Technology stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index falling 54.46 points or 0.35% at 15426.23 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, TVS Electronics Ltd (down 4.97%), Firstsource Solutions Ltd (down 3.99%),Subex Ltd (down 2.43%),Birlasoft Ltd (down 2.29%),3i Infotech Ltd (down 2.28%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were HCL Infosystems Ltd (down 2.19%), Mastek Ltd (down 2.09%), Zen Technologies Ltd (down 2.08%), Intellect Design Arena Ltd (down 1.83%), and Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (down 1.26%).

On the other hand, Aptech Ltd (up 7.94%), Expleo Solutions Ltd (up 6.93%), and Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (up 5%) moved up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 314.26 or 0.81% at 38907.78.

The Nifty 50 index was up 105.25 points or 0.92% at 11545.45.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 29.23 points or 0.22% at 13413.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 21.11 points or 0.47% at 4504.44.

On BSE,1190 shares were trading in green, 1172 were trading in red and 162 were unchanged.
