Information Technology stocks edge higher

Information Technology stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index increasing 131.96 points or 0.85% at 15669.02 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (up 9.36%), TVS Electronics Ltd (up 4.9%),Birlasoft Ltd (up 2.77%),HCL Technologies Ltd (up 2.73%),D-Link India Ltd (up 2.35%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (up 2.29%), Cigniti Technologies Ltd (up 2.23%), Tata Elxsi Ltd (up 1.96%), Subex Ltd (up 1.75%), and Quick Heal Technologies Ltd (up 1.61%).

On the other hand, Sasken Technologies Ltd (down 1.64%), Persistent Systems Ltd (down 1.57%), and Firstsource Solutions Ltd (down 1.07%) turned lower.

 

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 100.59 or 0.26% at 38510.07.

The Nifty 50 index was up 36.65 points or 0.33% at 11287.65.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 0.48 points or 0% at 13552.91.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 8.94 points or 0.19% at 4703.83.

On BSE,848 shares were trading in green, 593 were trading in red and 68 were unchanged.
