Japan share market finished session slight lower on Wednesday, 02 May 2018, on following the mixed lead from Wall Street overnight and on caution before Federal Reserve's policy statement later in global day. Most of TSE33 issues declined, with shares of automakers, mining and oil subindexes led losses. Japan market will close for public holidays on Thursday and Friday. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.16%, or 35.25 points, to 22,472.78 while the broader Topix index edged down 0.15%, or 2.66 points, to 1,771.52.
