The Japan share market finished session lower on Tuesday, 20 February 2018, snapping three session winning streak, due to lack of lead-in from Wall Street after US markets were closed overnight for the President's Day holiday. Most of TSE sectors were downbeat, with bank, machinery and insurance-linked issues being notable losers. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 224.11 points, or 1.01%, to end at 21,925.10. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 12.70 points, or 0.72%, lower at 1,762.45.
