KEC International wins new orders worth Rs 1,520 cr

KEC International, a global infrastructure EPC major, has secured new orders of Rs 1,520 crore across its various businesses.

The urban transport business has secured an order of Rs 964 crore for the construction of elevated via duct along with 8 stations of the Delhi Metro Phase IV project, from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The transmission & distribution business has secured two orders of Rs 391 crore for construction of 400 kV transmission lines in Nepal.

The railways business has secured an order of Rs 165 crore for construction of road over bridges in Western India. The announcement was made on Saturday, 21 December 2019.

 

Earlier on 6 December 2019, KEC International announced that it secured new orders of Rs 1,025 crore across its various businesses.

Shares of KEC International rose 1.96% to end at Rs 298.55 on Friday, 21 December 2019.

On a consolidated basis, KEC International's net profit rose 42.2% to Rs 139.12 crore on 16.6% rise in net sales to Rs 2,808.81 crore in Q2 September 2019 over Q2 September 2018.

KEC International is a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major. It has presence in the verticals of power transmission and distribution, railways, solar, civil, smart infrastructure and cables.
