Mahamaya Steel Industries reports net loss of Rs 0.79 crore in the March 2013 quarter

Net loss of Mahamaya Steel Industries reported to Rs 0.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against net profit of Rs 1.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 47.24% to Rs 61.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 116.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 76.30% to Rs 1.82 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 7.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 38.25% to Rs 333.36 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 539.82 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
