Maharatna Status conferred on Bharat Petroleum Corporation

Bharat Petroleum Corporation announced that the Government of India, vide letter dated 11 September 2017 has conferred Bharat Petroleum Corporation with Maharatna Status. Accordingly, the Bharat Petroleum Corporation is entitled to exercise the powers of a Maharatna Company as governed by relevant guidelines issued by the Department of Public Enterprises.
