Mawana Sugars standalone net profit rises 42.68% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 8.48% to Rs 422.24 crore

Net profit of Mawana Sugars rose 42.68% to Rs 92.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 64.92 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 8.48% to Rs 422.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 461.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 20559.73% to Rs 456.58 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 20.48% to Rs 1179.33 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1483.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
