Monsanto India reports standalone net profit of Rs 24.08 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 25.74% to Rs 87.10 crore

Net profit of Monsanto India reported to Rs 24.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 8.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 25.74% to Rs 87.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 69.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 4.75% to Rs 101.25 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 106.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.87% to Rs 536.41 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 546.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
