Muthoot Finance leads gainers in 'A' group

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Marico, Jaiprakash Power Ventures and IRB Infrastructure Developers are among the other gainers.

Gold loan company Muthoot Finance surged 8.26% to Rs 98.95 on bargain hunting after the stock fell 26.62% in the preceding six trading sessions to Rs 91.40 on 25 June 2013, from a recent high of Rs 124.55 on 17 June 2013. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, known for its malted food drinks brand Horlicks, spurted 7.28% to Rs 4,596. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

FMCG firm Marico galloped 6.72% to Rs 204.15. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

 

Power generation firm Jaiprakash Power Ventures jumped 6.34% to Rs 17.60 on bargain hunting after the stock fell 25.45% in the preceding five trading sessions to Rs 16.55 on 25 June 2013, from a recent high of Rs 22.20 on 18 June 2013. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

IRB Infrastructure Developers climbed 4.17% to Rs 97.45 on bargain hunting after the stock fell 20.45% in the preceding four trading sessions to Rs 93.55 on 25 June 2013, from a recent high of Rs 117.60 on 19 June 2013. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
