Nestle India standalone net profit rises 59.58% in the December 2017 quarter

Sales rise 15.56% to Rs 2589.64 crore

Net profit of Nestle India rose 59.58% to Rs 311.83 crore in the quarter ended December 2017 as against Rs 195.41 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2016. Sales rose 15.56% to Rs 2589.64 crore in the quarter ended December 2017 as against Rs 2240.96 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 22.35% to Rs 1225.19 crore in the year ended December 2017 as against Rs 1001.36 crore during the previous year ended December 2016. Sales rose 9.65% to Rs 9952.53 crore in the year ended December 2017 as against Rs 9076.37 crore during the previous year ended December 2016.
