NHPC standalone net profit rises 34.67% in the March 2022 quarter

Sales rise 12.25% to Rs 1505.76 crore

Net profit of NHPC rose 34.67% to Rs 560.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 415.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales rose 12.25% to Rs 1505.76 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 1341.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.02% to Rs 3537.71 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 3245.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales declined 1.80% to Rs 8353.80 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 8506.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
