Japan share market closed modest higher in quiet trading on Monday, 30 June 2014, as investors chased for bargain buying following Friday's steep fall and the rise in industrial production data for May. But, a stronger yen and caution ahead of the Bank of Japan's key business sentiment survey capped upside. The Nikkei 225 index rose 0.44% to finish at 15162.10, while the Topix index of all first-section issues rose 0.75% to 1262.56.
