NTPC Ltd lost 2.94% today to trade at Rs 113.75. The S&P BSE Power index is down 1.42% to quote at 1952.53. The index is up 3.15 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd decreased 2.34% and Thermax Ltd lost 0.57% on the day. The S&P BSE Power index went up 0.86 % over last one year compared to the 13.73% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
NTPC Ltd has lost 0.74% over last one month compared to 3.15% gain in S&P BSE Power index and 0.46% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 75023 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2.26 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 145.85 on 01 Jul 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 106.75 on 13 Feb 2019.
