Orient Cement standalone net profit declines 26.67% in the March 2022 quarter

Sales decline 3.34% to Rs 803.86 crore

Net profit of Orient Cement declined 26.67% to Rs 73.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 99.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales declined 3.34% to Rs 803.86 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 831.62 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.

For the full year,net profit rose 22.90% to Rs 263.25 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 214.19 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales rose 17.27% to Rs 2725.42 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 2324.09 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
