Quick Wrap: Nifty Financial Services Index registers a drop of 1.68,NIFTY Crashes 1.19%

Nifty Financial Services index closed down 1.68% at 11223.5 today. The index has lost 3.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd dropped 4.33%, IIFL Holdings Ltd shed 3.80% and General Insurance Corporation of India added 3.55%. The Nifty Financial Services index has increased 10.00% over last one year compared to the 12.81% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index has slid 1.40% and Nifty FMCG index is down 1.38% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 1.19% to close at 11377.75 while the SENSEX has slid 1.33% to close at 37585.51 today.
