Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index rises 3.12%

Nifty PSE index closed up 3.12% at 3090.85 today. The index is down 1.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Coal India Ltd added 6.97%, Oil & Natural Gas Corpn Ltd rose 5.17% and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd jumped 4.74%. The Nifty PSE index is down 15.00% over last one year compared to the 5.48% decline in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index added 2.61% and Nifty Auto index gained 2.06% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.03% to close at 10847.9 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.22% to close at 36644.42 today.
