RBI and ECB sign an MoU on cooperation in the field of central banking

MoU provides a framework for regular exchange of information, policy dialogue and technical cooperation between the two institutions

Dr. Raghuram Rajan, Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Dr. Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank (ECB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of central banking.

The Memorandum of Understanding provides a framework for regular exchange of information, policy dialogue and technical cooperation between the two institutions. Technical cooperation may take the form of joint seminars and workshops in areas of mutual interest in the field of central banking.
