Real Estate stocks fall
Real Estate stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 21.99 points or 1.63% at 1328.36 at 13:53 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 5.51%), Sobha Ltd (down 5%),Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 4.95%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 2.7%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 1.3%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were DLF Ltd (down 1.01%), Godrej Properties Ltd (down 0.86%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.03%).
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 0.64%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.2%) turned up.
At 13:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 265.33 or 0.84% at 31980.68.
The Nifty 50 index was up 67.45 points or 0.73% at 9360.95.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 32.86 points or 0.31% at 10786.44.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 28.41 points or 0.75% at 3804.11.
On BSE,1080 shares were trading in green, 1138 were trading in red and 186 were unchanged.
