Rupee extends losses

Indian rupee extended losses opening lower at 61.80/83 per dollar, as against its previous close of 61.52/53 on Monday, to gains made by US dollar against the euro and other overseas currencies ahead of US jobs data and a lower opening in the domestic equity market.
