Shipping Corporation of India consolidated net profit declines 22.77% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales decline 33.37% to Rs 875.39 crore

Net profit of Shipping Corporation of India declined 22.77% to Rs 85.76 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 111.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales declined 33.37% to Rs 875.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 1313.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit rose 106.87% to Rs 696.09 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 336.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 16.32% to Rs 3703.29 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 4425.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
