Shipping Corporation of India reports net profit of Rs 13.24 crore in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 25.32% to Rs 1203.95 crore

Net profit of Shipping Corporation of India reported to Rs 13.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 281.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 25.32% to Rs 1203.95 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 960.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 274.66 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 114.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 0.04% to Rs 4155.17 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 4153.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
