Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation standalone net profit declines 20.95% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 30.50% to Rs 393.30 crore

Net profit of Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation declined 20.95% to Rs 6.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 8.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 30.50% to Rs 393.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 301.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 41.29% to Rs 37.23 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 26.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 33.42% to Rs 1983.17 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1486.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
