Strides Shasun standalone net profit rises 41.23% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 27.14% to Rs 522.80 crore

Net profit of Strides Shasun rose 41.23% to Rs 75.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 53.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 27.14% to Rs 522.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 717.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 16.64% to Rs 108.54 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 130.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 5.03% to Rs 2109.80 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2221.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
