Tata Chemicals standalone net profit rises 539.55% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 4.55% to Rs 918.25 crore

Net profit of Tata Chemicals rose 539.55% to Rs 1029.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 160.97 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 4.55% to Rs 918.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 878.29 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 155.08% to Rs 1766.96 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 692.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 3.90% to Rs 3466.01 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 3606.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
