Union Bank of India standalone net profit rises 12.59% in the March 2017 quarter

Total Operating Income rise 5.55% to Rs 8325.44 crore

Net profit of Union Bank of India rose 12.59% to Rs 108.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 96.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Total Operating Income rose 5.55% to Rs 8325.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 7888.02 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 58.92% to Rs 555.21 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1351.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Total Operating Income rose 1.43% to Rs 32659.98 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 32198.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
