Uttam Sugar Mills reports standalone net profit of Rs 11.67 crore in the June 2014 quarter

Sales decline 21.59% to Rs 148.68 crore

Net profit of Uttam Sugar Mills reported to Rs 11.67 crore in the quarter ended June 2014 as against net loss of Rs 18.88 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2013. Sales declined 21.59% to Rs 148.68 crore in the quarter ended June 2014 as against Rs 189.61 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 55.30 crore in the year ended June 2014 as against net profit of Rs 5.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 34.29% to Rs 864.24 crore in the year ended June 2014 as against Rs 643.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
