Elgi Equipments clocked volume of 5.75 lakh shares by 12:02 IST on BSE, a 62.51-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock rose 0.18% to Rs 310.55.
Thyrocare Technologies notched up volume of 1.04 lakh shares, a 40.01-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock gained 0.05% to Rs 690.50.
Welspun India saw volume of 82.31 lakh shares, a 29.96-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.75 lakh shares. The stock jumped 7.96% to Rs 79.30.
Stampede Capital clocked volume of 84.26 lakh shares, a 23.56-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.58 lakh shares. The stock was locked at 5% upper circuit at Rs 15.57.
Infinite Computer Solutions (India) saw volume of 2.27lakh shares, a 8.87-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 26,000 shares. The stock jumped 12.37% to Rs 376.10.
